Call for KARPRO Conference

By supporting of Pécs Regional Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences - Hungarian Academy of Sciences, University of Pécs, St. Stephen's Academy of Sciences and the Institute for Regional Studies at September 30, 2016 in Pécs, Hungary organizes the: Carpathian basin project-based collaboration (KARPRO 2016) international scientific conference.

The type of brainstorming conference is aimed to developing academic programs for joint projects to EU Horizon 2020 Calls. The objectives of the conference is the Carpathian Basin scientific cooperation between neighbouring countries in the region.

The conference topics are:

1. Health Sciences: Health medical costs, needs, expectations

György Kosztolányi Academician, president of the PAB, the MTA (HAS) , Chairman of the Department of Medical Sciences.

2. Environmental Sciences: Water and Climate concentrated on the problems of regional cooperation.

Tamás Németh Academician, President of the Hungarian Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

3. Comparative analysis of the Carpathian Basin regions of development policy - in - cross-border cooperation

Ilona Pál Kovács Academician, Director of the Institute for Regional Studies of the Hungarian Academy of Science.

4. Information and communication technologies, networking, remote cooperation

Karolj Skala, Ruđer Bošković Institute, Zagreb Croatia and professor at the University of Zagreb.

The conference language: English and Hungarian

The conference will take place: MTA PAB Headquarters, 7624 Pécs, Jurisics. M. u. 44th, Hungary

Participation is free.
